It's Rose Season

This is Mary Rose, a really prolific flowerer, at least 2 flushes per year
This is Zephirine Drouhin, a climbing rose that I planted last year to one side of my arch. It has the most amazing perfume - and I know this because I sniffed all the roses at the David Austin nursery!
Last but not least this is St Swithun, nicely perfumed and lots and lots of blooms. Are you noticing a bit of a pink theme going on? As well as pink I allow white, blue, purple and shades thereof in the back garden and this is for all plants not just my roses. I wanted to have some sense of calm and serenity but not sure I've achieved that as the variety of colour within this palette is actually vast, but I do love my little garden. My other 4 roses are not in bloom yet so there is more joy to come :)

  2. Ohhhhhh, I love them all but especially the St Swithun. Don't know that I've seen that breed before, and it is just lovely.

  3. Your roses are incredibly beautiful! I especially love roses.
I am sorry to hear about your sweetie gone missing. I have heard of cats going on a trip and not coming home for quite some time. Maybe she is not finished with her travels?
I will keep you in my good thoughts.
    Hugs,

  6. Your roses are gorgeous! I'm a rose lover too and our garden is also beautiful at the moment. Well, it was until the heavy downpours this week, which have left our lawn strewn with hundreds of rose petals!
