The name Anya came from the ex-demon in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, it suited her because she could be a little tinker. She was named Golightly after Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffanys as she looked as if she was wearing long black gloves. She would wake me by roughly licking my cheek which you just couldn't ignore. She was a beautiful girl, very nice eyes and the longest fur between her pads and I loved her. I'll miss her so much.
Thank you for all your encouragement and support when she was missing, I really have been so touched. She was found yesterday.

ReplyDeleteI am so, so sorry...I know that losing her was like losing a family member, and I wish you peace in the knowledge that she is not suffering now, and that you had the love of each other for some time.
