Flowing Music ATC
Started playing around with music paper behind paper napkin images and enjoyed using my sewing machine. I think I'll continue to experiment in this area over the weekend. Bought some new napkins today and really excited about using them.

Ever get the feeling you're being watched?
Another Postcard
Finished another postcard today. This one has been difficult in that with each step I've then put it aside as I didn't know what to do next but now kind of like it.

Mail Art Affirmation Entry
I got this postcard entry off to Cloth Paper Scissors on Wednesday and just keeping everything crossed that it gets there by the deadline of the end of the month. I really enjoyed making it and wanted to keep it but off it's gone.

Mail Art Affirmation
I was working on this postcard for the Cloth Paper Scissors Mail Art Affirmations swap but I was having trouble deciding on the affirmations to attach to it. I then learnt tonight that a friend has not been very well and so decided that I'd put on a quote about friendship and healing and send it on to her instead. I used a hindi script background, marbled tissue paper (using the shaving foam method) a paper napkin, a stamp and distress inks. Hope she likes it :)

Indian Peony ATC
Just finished off an ATC, more in the series to follow. I used a vintage book text in hindi, a paper napkin, watercolours, distress ink and stickles but that doesn't show much in this photo. Really enjoying working in a series, whilst one is drying I can be working on others. A series is also allowing me to experiment with new ideas and take the successful ones through on other ATCs.
Also working in a series of 4 for the Cloth Paper Scissors Mail Art Swap, to allow me to chose the best one to send in, more to follow on that.

Mosaic Splashback
Spent most of the day having a smashing time, literally. Finally got round to making a mosaic splashback for my bathroom sink. Been collecting old floral plates for a while, borrowed the clippers from a friend and got cracking, (sorry, couldn't resist it, lol).
Today is the easy day, the grouting will be challenging as the plates are all slightly different thicknesses. But I think it will be worth it when it's done.

New ATCs
Spent the day working on new ATCs but can't show you them as some of them are destined for swaps and it would ruin the surprise. Watch this space....
Scanned in some more old photographs and decided to use one of myself as a little girl as my profile picture. Some of the photos are just so indicative of the times, just loving the raffia lamp in this one! No chance you have it in the loft mother? It's me and my beloved farmyard.

Friends Art Play Day
Had some friends over yesterday for an Art Play Day. Taking my cue from Sarah Whitmire I set an art scavenger hunt and then we got together to use them in making individual collage canvases. As always we had a good chat, laughter, food and came up with such different results. Loved it girls, looking forward to our glass day next month!
